“The Sacred Pause”

A Leadership Meditation Retreat to Cultivate BE-ingness

"This retreat was a beautiful blend of deep connection with other soul-led leaders and coming home to myself through deep presence and reflection in lots of silence. Tovi embodies presence and an honoring of humanity and that presence calls forth others who desire the same, creating such a sacred and safe space for the healing that occurred for me and others at the retreat. I'm beyond grateful for these beautiful, healing days and moments."

- Katie R.,
Founder & CEO,
Constant Love & Learning

"I highly recommend this retreat! It is a refuge from the chaos of life; it is an invitation to slow down. Are you needing time to just breathe? Are you contemplating something personal or professional that you cannot seem to get your head around? You are reading this now because this is your calling to come. You will not be disappointed."

- Lisa S-G.,
Home-Based Manager,
Early Head Start

A wonderful and life changing opportunity. The things and info and strategies shared all contributed. I have made small and large changes due to the support, suggestions, and opportunity to think and plan and incorporate ideas. I loved the guests, I loved the participants, and I love learning with Tovi. I loved being able to be in the presence of leaderful women, and get to engage and also have group silence and meditation. The whole retreat was beautiful, powerful, healing... exceeded my expectations"

Private Room with ensuite Bathroom | All-Inclusive

My first meditation retreat was a week of silence in 2004.

I was exhausted, burnt-out, and overwhelmed with the loudness of life that I thought was normal. I just wanted a moment to “pause” - make the loudness and busyness of my own life stop. My initial draw to the retreat was to stop, to hide, to find an escape.  I had no idea that my life - and leadership - would change forever. I had no idea that the foundation of that retreat would anchor me more deeply to myself and a commitment to live a lifestyle with greater presence and authenticity - a life that I would not need to hide or escape from.

I could go on, yet since then, my work and life speak to the power of this practice more fully than I could ever describe here. All because I got quiet, got still, slowed down, and went inward. To BE different, I had to DO different. The retreat gave me space to practice do-ing different so I could start be-ing different.

I want to share this experience with you, I want to share Professional Spirituality® with you. While we will not do a week of silence (yet!), I invite you to join me for a sacred weekend of sacred work: YOU & YOUR LEADERSHIP.  We will truly do the work of embodying self-transformation for systemic-transformation®

Free of interruption, we will engage in our own container on the beautiful grounds, enjoying three healthy meals each day, the peace of nature, a sacred learning space, outdoor amphitheater for talks, and creativity. There will be periods for us to honor the power of Deep Silence. We will learn together, rest together, and meditate together. Of course, there will be space for you to simply BE at your own pace as well.

transformation experience. She has had a daily meditation practice since 1993, and has done four week-long silent retreats. She is a recognized leader in teaching meditation, resilience, and belonging. Tovi cultivates conscious, connected, and courageous leaders world-wide.

Latisha Baker is a self-taught artist who is committed to creating contemporary, handmade wearable and visual artwork that uplifts the human spirit. Her vision is to add more colorful experiences to the world. Latisha started her creative journey 30 years ago by making hand-made jewelry from found objects. Over the years, she has amassed a wonderful and bountiful collection of beads, mixed metals, precious stones and natural materials. Though she no longer creates assemblage jewelry, she has transitioned into a new chapter in her art practice using a primitive technique called pyrography, also referred to as woodburning. Latisha’s collections are under her namesake Latisha Baker Artworks, which includes visual art, stationery and a handmade pyro-etched wearable art jewelry line known as Ear Cookies and Sojourn Neckwear.

Latisha is a dear sista-friend of over 25 years and I'm thrilled to share that she has graciously accepted the invitation to join our retreat experience and provide one of our evening creative activities! (FUN FACT: Tovi has over a dozen pairs of Ear-Cookies, having purchased her first pair in the mid 1990's!)
