It dawned on me that I had a very technical tool to share with you all that supports managing our teams remotely and still fuels a level of connection and empathy.
It was one of my absolute favorite things to do each week. And it took only 30 minutes (not even that long sometimes!) for our team of 5 - 7 to use. This was not my creation, but I tweaked it from my past leadership position as CA’s Regional Executive Director at Partners in School Innovation.
Let me tell you - I was quite the Pisces out of water when I landed that dream job! Having just left a principalship, I was used to being with my team every day and my bosses consistently. Well, not all jobs are like that and the learning curve can be high! Partners really know how to create SUSTAINABLE remote workforce conditions that are efficient, connected, and productive.
