About the Event

The Dare to Lead: Leadership Intensive Experience delivers the empirically based Dare to Lead™ courage building program, based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown, with an inclusion and equity lens. This program is designed to help individuals develop deep self-awareness, increase their level of awareness of others, recognize their impact on others, and finally; articulate their own personal call to courage. This is the critical skill-building our leaders need to challenge inequitable systems, create environments that support innovative problem solving, and lead change in their communities.

Enjoy Seattle in a retreat-style version of this intensive program. It will take place on February 23-25, 2023 at Seattle Waldorf School, which is located at Magnuson Park with a brewery next door and the water just steps away (see photos below). These three days will change your life. You will walk away with a greater understanding of yourself, and the tools you need to live out your personal call to courage.  This concentrated experience provides a safe environment for learning and allows you to build meaningful relationships with others that last well beyond the workshop.

The Dare to Leadâ„¢ program is designed for individuals and teams who are ready to embrace brave leadership, shed their armor, and show up with whole hearts in their work and life. To scale daring leadership and build courage in teams and organizations, we must cultivate a culture in which brave work, tough conversations, and whole hearts are the expectation, and armor is not necessary or rewarded.

In addition to receiving a certificate of completion, individuals who complete the 24-hour program may put the Dare to Leadâ„¢ Trained badge on their LinkedIn account. Participants will also qualify to become Dare to Lead Teams coordinators.
