COURAGE is one of the most requested trait in leaders.  And our work – now more than ever – requires us to lead more courageously – braver leaders lead to courageous cultures which leads to sustainable transformation, of self and our schools and organizations.

 

Dr. Brené Brown defines a leader as, “Anyone who takes responsibility for finding the potential in people and processes and has the courage to develop that potential.” Isn’t that our work?  Isn’t it what most of us are called to do every day?

Four Skillsets

 

Based on almost a decade of research, Dr. Brené Brown details in her latest book, Dare to Lead, that courageous leadership involves four distinct skillsets that can be taught, measured and observed. This work has the power to change individuals, teams and organizations to meet the increasing demands of our schools and organizations and teaches us how to be braver with our lives.  Through 11 codified, proprietary modules, The Dare to Lead™ program provides trainable, observable, and measurable skills – operationalizing courage, trust-building, empathy, and leadership.

 

It is up to us – as leaders – to embody a Courage Consciousness™ – to cultivate courage, consciousness, and connection in our leadership to make our schools, organizations, and world braver places.

About the
DARE TO LEAD™
Program

 

Based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown, Dare to Lead™ is an empirically based courage-building program designed to be facilitated by organizational development professionals. Certified Dare to Lead™ Facilitators focus on developing these courage-building skills through workshops, trainings and coaching to help individuals, teams and organizations move from armored leadership to daring leadership.

 

Certified Facilitators are authorized to issue Dare to Lead Trained certificates to individuals who successfully complete the full 16-hour training. In addition to receiving a certificate of completion, these individuals are allowed to put a Dare to Lead™ Trained badge on their LinkedIn account.

 

Tovi was trained personally by Brené in her first cohort, March 2019. Tovi is a Certified Dare to Lead™ Facilitator creating opportunities to develop these courage-building skills through workshops, trainings, and coaching with individuals, teams, and organizations as they move from armored leadership to daring leadership. From her lived experience, Tovi teaches on what the future of successful, resilient leadership will require.

FORMAT OFFERINGS

 

This 16-hour program is designed for individuals who are ready to embrace brave leadership, shed their armor and show up with whole hearts in their work and life. Intuitive and interactive facilitation will guide the group through the actionable and measurable skill sets of daring leadership.

 

There are several ways to engage in this work with Tovi, either through public programs or privately through your school, group, or organization:

 

  • Keynote

  • Keynote + 60 – 90 min workshop

  • 4 ½ day sessions (over the course of 4 or more weeks)

  • 2 full days (back-to-back…or not)

  • 2 – 3 day in off-site retreat-setting

EARNING YOUR CERTIFICATE & BADGE

 

Individuals who successfully complete the full 16-hour training qualify to receive the Dare to Lead™ Trained certificate. In addition to receiving a certificate of completion, individuals earn a Dare to Lead™ Trained badge to be placed on their LinkedIn account.
