REST & WEllBeing
Restoratively Embracing Self Today
“Caring for myself is not self-indulgence; it is self-preservation and that is an act of political warfare.”

This theme invites us to engage in deep inner work to heal long-term patterns related to racism so that we can lead from a healed way-of-being instead of a wounded way-of-being
This theme forms the bridge between our personal healing and self-transformation to our ability to create collective healing and systemic
This theme empowers us to skillfully facilitate EI² and racial healing - the work of humanity - with courage and compassion toward equity, connection, and belonging in our schools, organizations, and communities.

Vision Is All About “Ease & Flow”
"Now, more than ever, self-care is critical, not optional – and it’s linked to R.E.S.T (Restoratively Embracing Self Today). Self-care includes all the things you do to take care of your Well-BEing in seven key dimensions, including our spiritual health. Anchoring to Rest is Resistance frameworks for dismantling oppressive systems that prevent us from resting, Tovi guides us through experiential somatic activities, reflection and discussion. This engaging and interactive session invites participants to understand where we are “rest-deprived” and assess the shifts we need to make in our lives to re-store ourselves to greater wellness. Of course, we also explore aspects of self-care and REST through the lens of equity and inclusion - and how rest is a key strategy for high-achieving and innovative, creative leaders. In this highly transformative experience, Tovi gives the opportunity to identify and evaluate your own strategies and create a personal self-care plan that relies on choices, not a bank account."
- Kalimah Salahudin - DEI Community Program Manager
Resting on the vision and invitation already laid out for book groups by The Nap Bishop, the vision is to contribute to “the work” of healing and transforming humanity from the toxicity that we've all experienced first-hand of “grind culture.
We rest to wake.
