The EI² Method:
Become an Emotionally Intelligent Equity & Inclusion Facilitator
EI²: Emotionally Intelligent Equity & Inclusion™ Facilitator Certification
This program is NOT your “same ol’ spin your wheels” process to DEIB work!
This is an integrated, leadership-based approach that provides sustainable results FOR LASTING TRANSFORMATION (for both you AND your system/organization).
Through this 10-month certification program, participants will
HEAL through inner-work,
TRANSFORM both self and systems, and
LEAD courageously to create more inclusive
schools, organizations, and communities where
belonging and equitable outcomes are the norm.
DATES: Sep. 2023 - June 2024

I’ve spent decades in my life’s purpose to decode this signature LEADERSHIP PROCESS to create more equitable systems.
Through this intimate and intensive program, 20 leaders will grow
within these thematic areas for racial healing:

Presented by Tovi C. Scruggs-Hussein, Founder & CEO at Tici'ess
Tovi is an inimitable leader, author, healer, and award-winning educator with extensive experience in leadership, meditation, and transforming schools & organizations. Her primary goal is to heal our systems and institutions by transforming leaders in Emotionally Intelligent Leadership development, Racial Healing, and Trauma-Responsive Resilience.
Tovi holds numerous certifications that equip her for C-Suite leadership development and beyond. Additionally, she received personal training from Dr. Brené Brown as a Certified Dare to Lead Facilitator, to empower others with courageous leadership, inclusion, and belonging.
Tovi's most impactful leadership training came from her 17-year tenure as a high school principal, culminating in awards and the dismantling of a racist mascot and a culture-climate overhaul resulting in more equitable outcomes in only 3 years. She also co-founded her own fully-accredited private school designed for Black Students and Families, and birthed the first “Man Up!” conference, which inspired the nationally acclaimed work of AAMA. She played pivotal roles in co-founding ACSA's Equity Leaders Academy, as well as co-founding Trauma-Informed Leadership with an Equity Lens at Mills College.
In 2021, Tovi was honored by "Mindful" Magazine as one of the "10 Powerful Women in Mindfulness," recognized for her wisdom and courage in shaping our world. She is the visionary behind Racial Healing Allies, a movement dedicated to fostering equitable and inclusive schools and organizations. Tovi's influence extends globally as she cultivates conscious, connected, and courageous leaders world-wide.
