Social and emotional learning (SEL) is the process through which children and adults understand and manage emotions, set and achieve positive goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain positive relationships, and make responsible decisions.

Race plays a role in our leadership and our teaching, whether intentionally or not. This workshop explores how we must embrace race & our lived experience with whiteness as a part of our work in order to be more impactful and effective.

This workshop explores the foundation of emotional intelligence in order to help school leaders and teachers thrive and build the core skills needed for peak performance, especially as it relates to equity work and creating trauma-sensitive environments.

Being trauma-responsive is the skillfulness required by the adults in our educational and work settings to integrate our own inside-out work with strategies in order to mitigate our own vicarious trauma and well as decrease the chances of re-traumatizing those we serve, adults and children alike.

Courage is one of the most requested trait in leaders. Based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown, Dare to Lead™ is an empirically based courage-building program designed to be facilitated by organizational development professionals.

Tovi Scruggs-Hussein's book Parent Champion is designed to motivate and educate parents to be their very best as school-partners.  Parents will be inspired to analyze, reflect, and take action in regards to how they co-educate their children by partnering with their child’s school.
